RELATIONSHIP CAPACITIES IN THE SUPPLY CHAIN: INTEGRATIVE REVIEW

Authors

Abstract

The relationships that exist between organizations in supply chains have been of great interest to academia. One of the main factors that has caused such protagonism is the competitive advantages driven by these relationships, such as: access to new markets and long-term profitability. In this sense, the present study aims to investigate the literature on relational capabilities in the supply chain through an integrative review. The databases that supported this study were Web of Science and Scopus, which provided, after the inclusion and exclusion process, fifteen articles for refined analysis. The results indicate that relationships that strengthen ties between partners in supply chains have a positive influence on chain performance. The results also point to gaps to be studied in some sectors.
