RELACIONAMENTOS ACADÊMICOS E DESEMPENHO EM UM CURSO SUPERIOR

Este trabalho analisou as redes de relacionamentos entre alunos de um Curso de Graduação em Administração, os relacionamentos baseados em homofilia e quais métricas de rede têm influência no desempenho dos estudantes. Foram pesquisadas cinco turmas, totalizando 185 alunos. Utilizou-se análise quantitativa no âmbito da sociometria - Análise de Redes Sociais -, ANOVA, teste t e regressão linear. Concluiu-se que a probabilidade de os estudantes formarem laços com outros tem como base a homofilia, principalmente em gênero, desempenho acadêmico e se trabalham ou não. Com relação a desempenho, não se identificou diferença significativa em função de turmas ou dos atributos pessoais dos alunos. Os alunos que possuem maior desempenho estão situados em posições centrais na rede da turma, tendo, ainda, maior poder na rede.
