ANTECEDENTES DA INTENÇÃO DE INVESTIR EM AÇÕES DE EMPRESAS SUSTENTÁVEIS

O mercado de ações é uma fonte de financiamento dos investimentos das empresas e oportunidade de o investidor individual buscar maximizar o retorno sobre suas aplicações financeiras. Considerando os aspectos comportamentais na tomada de decisão de investir, o objetivo foi identificar os antecedentes da intenção de investir em ações de empresas sustentáveis, bem como da influência da consciência ambiental do investidor e sua confiança nas empresas sustentáveis. Tendo a Teoria do Comportamento Planejado (TCP) como perspectiva analítica, a metodologia foi a modelagem por equações estruturais com estimação por mínimos quadrados parciais. Os resultados mostraram que atitude, normas subjetivas e controle comportamental percebido impactaram a intenção de investir em ações, no entanto o viés de comportamento passado não. Porém, este último impactou a atitude dos investidores. Também se constatou que há uma relação positiva entre investir em ações e investir em ações de empresas sustentáveis e essa relação é fortalecida pela consciência ambiental dos investidores, porém não é moderada pela confiança nas empresas. Isso mostra a importância da divulgação das operações sustentáveis das empresas e em um contexto de amadurecimento da consciência ambiental e de conhecimento financeiro nas decisões de investimento. Este estudo contribui para o campo das finanças pessoais.
