Abstract

In recent years, innovation in products, processes, marketing and management has been part of organizations' strategies. Private and public sectors seek to incorporate innovations as a sustainability and competitiveness strategy, generating an impact on organizations and reinforcing the relationship between the business areas of innovation and strategy. With a focus on analyzing international scientific studies in the business area, a bibliometric study was conducted to identify the characteristics of studies from the last five years using the Scopus database and generating maps using the VOSViewer ® software. Although the study is descriptive in nature, with no objective or need to generalize the results, the relevance of the terms in the current business context is highlighted. New studies that may include one of the clusters described are also encouraged, seeking to identify models that can be applied in different contexts or sectors of the economy.
