This article presents a conceptual approach to interdisciplinarity in information science and its possibility of construction between the scientific domains of law, information and knowledge, considering a new professional paradigm of advocacy based on the digital revolution. The question is: How can interdisciplinarity between law and information and communication technologies (ICTs) contribute to this process of training the “new” lawyer? We seek to carry out a conceptual review of interdisciplinarity and its importance for information science, in addition to aspects related to the training of lawyers from an interdisciplinary perspective with the areas of knowledge that circumscribe ICT. We opted for applied research, contemplating intervention in a certain social reality, with a qualitative approach, with an exploratory objective, whose method is inductive, since the general conclusion is based on a set of particular observations from the literature.
